Deadline Day Recap: Rest of Europe

Posted in Bundesliga, English Premier League, Eredivisie, La Liga, Ligue 1, Scottish Premier League at 6:41 pm by deadlymusings

And besides the gigantic leagues, the rest of the major leagues in Europe are dealing with deadline day as well.

Paul LeGuen has signed Bosnian defender Sasa Papac from Austria Vienna.

Aberdeen have signed Lee Miller from Dundee United.

Angelos Charisteas has fallen from Euro 2004 winning goal scorer to being flogged by Ajax to bitter rivals Feyenoord.

PSV Eindhoven have acquired Liverpool defender Jan Kromkamp and Valencia nightclub regular Patrick Kluivert.

Stevie Crawford leaves the anonymity of Aberdeen for the anonymity of Dunfermline.

Manchester United striker Chris Eagles has joined NEC Nijmegen on season long loan.

Daniel Ljuboja is joining the Hamburg revolution on loan from VfB Stuttgart.

Danny Buijs will leave Groningen for Feyenoord.

Fulham once spent £11.5 million on him, but Steve Marlet has signed for Ligue 1 newboys Lorient on a free transfer.

Kilmarnock have signed Iain Campbell from Dunfermline, and this will probably be the only mention of him in this blog.
